Junior sales representative - GTI STRATEGIE

GTI STRATEGIE is a sales agency that represents THE NORTH FACE and GV SNOWSHOES/ONATA. The agency has been contracted to represent these companies since the early 2000s.

We are currently looking to hire a junior sales representative who is passionate about outdoor activities and has experience with the products we represent.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Offer in-store after-sale service for our product range
  • Promote the products and brand images for the companies we represent
  • Provide technical training for retail staff
  • Ensure retail merchandizing aligns with company guidelines and assist in this process
  • Participate in trade shows, promotional events, and activities
  • Attend sponsored sporting events such as races, competitions, ski resort demos, etc.
  • Must be able to work with a flexible schedule that includes some evenings and weekends

REQUIREMENTS

  • Diploma of college studies (DEC) or equivalent
  • Experience working in an outdoor/sporting goods or ski/snowboard retail store
  • Excellent English proficiency, both written and oral is essential, and good command of French is also required
  • Must be an outdoor enthusiast
  • Ability to ski or snowboard at an advanced level
  • Applicant must have a car and a valid driver’s license
  • Must be well organized, detail-oriented and a good team player
  • Proficiency with Word, Excel and social media required

WORKING CONDITIONS

  • Permanent, full-time position
  • Base salary with performance-related bonus and travel expenses
  • Office and showrooms located in Ville Saint-Laurent
  • Territory spans Ontario and Quebec
